5 Adorable DIY Halloween Costume Ideas

Whether you’re the type that counts down the days to Halloween all year long, or the ones who rush over to the store last minute to get candies for the trick or treaters, it’s never too early to start planning the costumes! And this year, we’ve come up with simple, creative, and easy to follow ideas using our Pigment Collection to create the sweetest and most BOOtiful costumes for your little ones.

1. COWBOY

“ Howdy Partner!” If you’re looking for a fast, simple and minimal way to transform your little one this Halloween, consider the cowboy! All you need is a couple of our Pigment Collection items along with a cute little hat to bring this legendary cowboy to life.

Materials needed:

Any straw/cowboy Hat (This one is from Small Lot Co.)

Note: If the weather is pretty chilly in your area during Halloween, you can dress your baby in a white onsie and even a vest to get a bit creative.

2. FAIRY

You can have your baby girl’s dream come true by dressing them up as a fairy this Halloween! All you need is a few of our Pigment Collection items along with a set of beautiful fairy wings and she’s ready to sprinkle a little magic wherever she goes!

3. BABY SHARK

Materials needed:

Blue onsie or shirt (We love onsies from Colored Organics)
White felt for teeth
Blue felt for fin

Note: You can use staple or tape to temporarily secure the teeth onto the hat and the fin onto the shirt. Also to make it more fun, you can have your baby hold on to a barbie/ken doll.

4. GARDEN GNOMES

“Gnome is where the heart is.”

If you want to get extra creative, you can make a beard for your gnome! This one is made by gluing cotton balls to felt.
