My favorite memory is caught on video! I caught my husband and baby were kicking up their legs on the bed in her room and laughing like 2 sillies and then when my baby (really toddler) saw me recording she stopped laughing and kicking, pointed directly at me, started yelling at me in baby talk and ran away like I was the paparazzi. It’s just a small flavor of her spunky personality.
Sarah, I just posted this on my blog! Best of luck with fundraising… I will be supporting you on IndieGoGo this week!!

My very fondest memory is on the third day of Lucy’s life, we were laying in our bed at home, no more nurses or doctors coming in and out at every other hour. We were finally alone with our baby girl. My husband and I were silenced, in awe, of the heavy responsibility tucked safely in between our bodies, peacefully sleeping. We now hold a new life in our hands, one that we feel so passionate in protecting, one in which we were so fearful of failure because everything is made anew. Lucy, whose name means light, opened her eyes and her lips starts to raise in a smile. That was when we were reassured that our Lord has fashioned this baby to be ours. We were complete in that moment, knowing that God redeemed and healed our marriage so that we are capable of raising Lucy and our future children by His grace and sovereignty. In that simple moment, I realized my dream has come true.
My favorite memory is waiting in the hospital for my brother to be born.
My favorite memory of Paige is when she was around 12 months old, for a few weeks when she’d get mad or upset about something, she’d angry baby talk at you and wag her finger at you. Like she was “tsk tsking” you – it was the cutest thing and she’d only get more upset because we’d be smiling and laughing at her. I wish I had it on video but we never got it!
The very first day our son was born after everything had calmed down and the last bit of visitors had left. While my husband was getting much needed rest, I was holding my little boy and was in awe. At that moment I also thought about my dad, who is no longer with us, and how proud he would have been and how much I wanted my dad to be around. At that moment, my little boy started to giggle in his sleep. Some say it may be gas … but I like to think it was my dad making him laugh in his sleep. I knew that my dad was going to be a part of my son’s life forever. He is 6 months now and still giggles in his sleep.
My favorite baby memory is the sweet feel of a silky baby head tucked into your neck, fast asleep!

One of my favorite memories was how alert my little one was after birth. He spent a good hour looking around and taking everything in before we both fell asleep to rest after our long and hard work of labor.
my favorite memory is when i met my son for the first time after months and months and months of staring at pictures of his precious face. we’re coming up on our one year anniversary of that very special day, too :)
oh, and, hello. :) i’m following you here now. i guess i never made the switch from the original blog! ;)
When my littlest was a baby, my favourite moment of the day would be when she woke up smiling and holding her arms out for me to pick her up out of the crib.
it’s really difficult to choose one favorite memory but, i’ll just pick my first mommy memory. i’m adopted and so the first time i saw my son, i was so awed to be holding and seeing the first person i’ve ever had a biological connection with. obviously, biological connections aren’t the be all and end all, but it was a powerful moment for me.
I just subscribed to your beautiful blog. :)

one of my favorite memories was when my baby was just about 4 months old – we laid him down on a pillow and i laid right next to him…he all of a sudden started cooing a lot and i’d kind of coo back…and we did this back and forth as if we were talking to each other for a good 8-10 minutes :)

My 2 month old son Micah smiles every time he “toots”. When I check his diaper, he leaves me a “surprise”. Oh boy!
My favorite baby memories was seeing how my nephews and nieces were crazy about their blanket. They carried the blanket everywhere and I <3 to tease them by took away their blanket to see their reaction :P
the 1st time she smiled at me – about 2 months old. so glad i put off going to work to see this!

so inspired by the work you are doing!!
fav baby memory: they are happening all the time. right now we are unwrapping one piece of our nativity set every morning. m’s little expressions of surprise & discovery are a total treasure.
My baby’s arriving in January so she’s not here yet, but a favorite pregnancy memory is sitting on the bed with my hubby in disbelief and scratching our heads looking at the multiple positive pregnancy tests that I had taken! (I also added your blog to my rss feed.) Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite memory is our family laying on the bed looking a our newborn. First with my husband I with our oldest child and latter with the younger brother. The time was quet and perfect.
I fondest memory of my babyhood would have to be (these were really toddler years) my mother always being near, always an arms reach away….that feeling of security was the thing that has stayed with me. :)
I love the way my 3rd was born. I couldn’t get in touch with my husband and KNEW I needed to get to the hospital. So I had a neighbor watch my other two, drove myself to the hospital and had my son 36 minutes later. My husband made it just in time.
Excited I am now a blog follower!

My favorite baby memory is when right after my son was born, and I was holding him, how alert and focused he was on his dad on the computer screen. Dad was in Afghanistan but was able to be there via skype, and baby recognized his voice from the recordable story book Dad “read” him every night before he was born. A very cool thing to see!

Currently 21 weeks pregnant, my husband and I are still reeling from the image of our last ultrasound, the movements we saw, the fingers, the toes. It was pretty miraculous. We can’t wait for all the memories to come.
That has to be one of the hardest questions ever. Too many favorite memories to choose from, that’s not a bad thing. So I’m going with my first favortie memory. When I was in labor with my daughter and she was going to be the first baby in MANY years – my entire family, husband, brother, parents, grandparents and aunts were all at the hospital waiting. And they waited a LONG time. I was shocked to hear they were still all there after I’d been in labor for over 12 hours and ended up having an emergency c-section. I knew my daughter would be one of the luckiest little girls in the world to be so loved by so many special people.
Favorite memories with both my babies are singing them to sleep…daughter’s favorite song was “You Are My Sunshine” and son’s was “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”!!!

my favorite baby memory is more tactile than anything. it’s my baby blanket and bear. (blankie and boo boo). when i think about these items i feel instantly comforted. its a feeling i’ll never be able to replace. and now and then, when i need some comfort…i pull them out. shh. don’t tell.

My daughter sleeping peacefully. There’s nothing more perfect that a sleeping baby.
A large bassinet was beside my parents bed, and I can recall the red thick Asian fur like bedding on their bed. The scent of baby powder brings me to this memory. The walls and windows were just cracked a little enough for a breeze in their room, I feel like I’m right there when I go into there room today. I was just four years old, I would stare into the bassinet and sit in the rocking chair beside it for what felt like days. Inside was the most magical soft little baby brother. I would peek at his unbilacord when nobody was around. It felt as if I made up a language that he could understand. My mother said he was “my baby”. I still adore my little brother, and this memory brings happy tears to my eyes.
My favorite memory was when I was adopted and was given a blue elephant with gold silky ears from my adopted dad.
I love the story about when I sucked in my stomach as much as I could and looked at my mom and said, “mommy, if you were this skinny, you’d be oh la la!”

My favorite memory of my kids is of the moment our 3 year old met his 2.5 year old brother when we brought him home from Korea. We caught their first hug on film—it was beautiful!
As a grandparent of two boys age 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and a girl age 9months i see them interact everyday. The 9mo old, Sophia, is getting around now and the boys are always trying to help her. The other day she was crying so one went for a diaper and wipes and one got her bottle.
Then when nothing happened, the older came and got grandma. My three were about the same age and two boys and a girl. It brings back so many memories.
I grew up overseas, in indonesia, and my favourite and most vivid memories are always sparked by smells – the smell of rain on concrete, of fresh rice paddies and food cooking over coals. I don’t smell these very often, but very occasionally I’ll catch one in the air and be right back in my childhood home!
One of my favorite memories of my youngest daughter is when she was still a baby, and put her hands on the sides of my face. Love!
My favourite baby memory has to be when I first became a Mom to our adopted son, Adam. It was such an overwhelming feeling, but something I had wanted forever!

My fondest memory of baby was when my son first jumped up to grab me and hug me close to him and jumped with giggles :)
My favorite memory of my son was his first coo. He had so much to say to me and we had a conversation about the ooos and ahhhhs of life.
I can’t think of anything I remember from being a baby!
My fondest memory is taking marathon naps with my newborn son. He would fall asleep on my chest and we would fall into a deep slumber and the front of my shirt would be soaking wet from the little furnace he was and continues to be.

You are such an inspiration. I cant wait to hear your stories from India. Let’s get dinner. My favorite baby memory was building forts with blankets and chairs in our living room so we could play Peter Pan. I always played Wendy. Happy thoughts….
My favorite memory of my son (19 mo.) just happened last week. I got him out of the bath and he ran away. I followed the sound of his tooth brush and found him brushing his teeth, naked, standing with the refrigerator door open checking things out. Such a turd.
One of my favorite/first memories with Gabby is when she came out and the dr said that she was a girl… shocked both Matthew and I cause throughout the whole pregnancy we thought we were having a boy! And then she shocked us again when we heard that she was 9 lbs.

so excited to learn of your website through dozi and 45wall design!
hmmm…i’ve been a mom for 9 months now and i suppose my favorite memory so far is when violet had her first fit of uncontrollable laughter when i first introduced her to blowing bubbles a month ago. she dissolved into giggles everytime i popped a bubble. this giggle-fest grew to a whole new level when violet simultaneously chuckled and had a gaseous explosion which vaulted her back into the cushy pillow that was placed behind her. the laughter became so contagious that i had a permanent smile plastered on my face and smile wrinkle marks that lasted a few days. at least these are wrinkles that i can definitely live with!
and i am a fan on fb as well now. thanks for this giveaway and for your incredible mission!
My favorite baby memory is of my son, Jeremiah, who is 17 months old. His affirmative response to anything is to pant like a dog. Makes me laugh every time. “Jeremiah, would you like some milk?” He opens his mouth wide, hangs out his tongue and pants enthusiastically. :)
Favorite memory… Curtis farting, and having Lauryn pat me on the butt to check my “diaper” for poo, saying “boo-boo?”
My favorite memory of Charlie… just one? Hmmm, well, I love her laugh and when she reaches her little hand to touch my face. So sweet. :)
my childhood sweet memories when i went to Ambon,Maluku Indonesia when my parents :)
start from Aceh and finish to Ujung Pandang ,yap .. around Indonesia
i’ve shared in twitter :) @belindaregina
wish me luck
My favorite baby memory is probably sitting on my grandfather’s lap, listening to him tell me stories about the robins out in the yard. I was so lucky to have him for a grandfather. He typed them all up for me so I have the stories to this day.
My favorite memory as a baby was being held by my grandfather as he bounced me on his lap. He passed when I was 2, so I hold his the memory of him and his smile especially dear.

Totally cliche, but my favorite memory with both of my kids is when they first smiled intentionally. It is incredibly priceless and I hope that I never forget the pride that I felt when that little grin creeped across their faces….

wow, favorite memories are hard to choose! there are many moments of joy to recount. but i’d say i will always look back with fondness and a sense of complete satisfaction the time when i nursed my babies to sleep at night. it was a time for just she and i. the room is dark, i’m sitting in the rocking chair, holding her close. she is soft and warm and drifting off to sleep. and while i rock gently and holding her hand, i too would often drift off in the quiet peace of night…
